Metallic Epoxy Flooring — A Floor That Stops People in Their Tracks

No two metallic epoxy floors look exactly alike. Swirling metallic pigments in industrial-strength epoxy create a living, three-dimensional marble effect that is entirely, permanently, yours. Florida Demo Masters installs metallic epoxy floors for homes and businesses throughout Florida.

How the Effect Is Created

Metallic epoxy uses nano-metallic pigments mixed directly into a clear, 100% solids epoxy resin. As the material is applied and worked across the floor, the metallic particles flow and orient themselves in patterns driven by the application technique — squeegee direction, air movement, layering of additional colors.

The result is real visual depth. Light hits it differently from different angles. Move across the room and the floor seems to shift. It’s consistently high-gloss, and a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat keeps the color from yellowing — critical in Florida’s sun-heavy interior environments.

This is not a DIY system. The application phase is skilled work — the results reflect the skill of the person applying it, which is why choosing an experienced installer matters significantly more here than with other coating systems.

Available Color Styles

Colors can be combined to achieve almost any look. We’ll show you examples during the estimate.

  • White & silver marble — clean, high-end, classic
  • Ocean blue & turquoise — deep coastal tones that suit Florida homes
  • Charcoal & black galaxy — dark, dramatic, modern spaces
  • Bronze & copper — warm earth metallics with rich depth
  • Pearl & champagne — subtle, refined, elegant
  • Custom combinations — tell us your vision and we’ll build it

Because each floor is hand-crafted, samples give you a strong sense of the color palette — your floor will have its own character and variation that makes it uniquely yours.

Installation and Frequently Asked Questions

How is it installed?
The concrete is diamond-ground and primed. The metallic-pigmented epoxy is poured and artistically worked across the floor. Additional colors can be layered for depth. A UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat locks in the design. Most projects complete in two to three days.

Is metallic epoxy durable?
100% solids industrial epoxy is used in commercial warehouses and dealership showrooms. For residential floors, it’s essentially bulletproof under normal use.

Does it look good in smaller rooms?
Often better — the high-gloss surface makes small rooms feel significantly larger. Bathrooms, small offices, and boutique retail spaces work particularly well.

Can it be installed over existing tile?
Sometimes, if the tile is firmly bonded with no hollow spots. More often, tile removal gives us the cleanest result. If you need tile removed, that’s our specialty — we can handle both phases.

What areas of Florida do you serve?
Gainesville, Jacksonville, Ocala, Orlando, Tampa, and surrounding areas.
