Granitflex Concrete Coating — Built for Florida's Outdoors
Crack-resistant. UV-stable. Over a thousand color combinations. The only coating system engineered to become part of your concrete — not just sit on top of it. Florida Demo Masters is a certified Granitflex installer serving pool decks, patios, driveways, and garages throughout Florida.

Why Other Coatings Fail — and Granitflex Doesn’t
Most concrete coatings sit on top of your slab. That’s the problem. When the concrete beneath expands, contracts, or shifts — even slightly — a coating bonded only to the surface cracks or delaminates. You’ve seen it: that flaking, peeling pool deck after a few Florida summers.
Granitflex uses Flexible Penetration Technology. The coating penetrates into the capillaries of the concrete itself and cures from the inside out. It becomes part of the slab — not just something sitting on top of it. The cured material has elongation memory, meaning it flexes with the concrete rather than fighting it. That’s why it’s highly crack-resistant in a climate where most coatings fail.
The colored aggregates are structural, not surface-applied. The color doesn’t fade because it’s not a surface treatment — it’s part of the system.
Where Granitflex Works
One of the few systems that performs equally well inside and outside. We install it on:
- Pool decks and pool surrounds
- Covered and uncovered patios
- Driveways and sidewalks
- Garage and shop floors
- Basement and utility floors
- Commercial walkways and entryways
- Porches and outdoor entertaining areas
For pool decks specifically, Granitflex has a major practical advantage: the aggregate surface texture provides natural slip resistance. Smooth coatings around pools are a liability. Granitflex gives you a surface that’s safe when wet without looking industrial.

1,000+ Color Combinations — We Bring Samples to You
Choosing the right color for a pool deck, driveway, or patio is a big decision. We bring physical sample chips to your home during the estimate so you can see the colors in your actual light, against your exterior, and next to your landscaping. Most clients narrow it down to two or three on the spot.
From warm earth tones that complement Florida’s natural landscape to cool coastal grays, contemporary charcoals, and custom blends — there’s a combination for every property. And once it’s down, the color is permanent. It won’t fade, peel, or wash away.
The Installation Process
Surface prep is where most coating jobs succeed or fail. Every Granitflex installation starts with mechanical diamond grinding — not acid wash, not power washing. Grinding opens the concrete pores for a real mechanical bond. From there, cracks are repaired, the flexible base coat is applied, your chosen aggregate blend is broadcast, and a UV-stable clear topcoat seals everything. Most residential jobs are done in one to two days.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does Granitflex compare to stamped concrete?
Stamped concrete color is a surface treatment that fades. Granitflex color is in the aggregate — it doesn’t fade. The flexible chemistry also handles ground movement far better than rigid stamped concrete.
My pool deck has cracks. Can Granitflex cover them?
Yes — crack repair is part of our prep process. Surface cracks and structural cracks are handled differently. During the estimate we’ll assess your deck and tell you exactly what the repair will look like.
Will it get too hot to walk on barefoot in Florida?
Color choice affects surface temperature — darker colors absorb more heat. We’ll walk you through this during color selection and can recommend lighter blends that stay cooler underfoot.
How long does it last?
With proper installation and basic maintenance, 10 to 20 years is realistic — significantly longer than painted concrete, standard deck coatings, or pavers that shift and allow weeds.
What areas of Florida do you serve?
Gainesville, Jacksonville, Ocala, Orlando, Tampa, and surrounding areas. Call or fill out the quote form to confirm availability in your location.
